Vivo has finally launched Vivo Nex AKA Nex S smartphone in India as it was promised. This is a flagship smartphone from the Chinese firm and will be available for sale starting from July 22 via Vivo’s official website and Amazon India store. To recall, the key highlight of the smartphone is its motorized front camera, which makes the device unique among other competitors. The device comes with “Bazel-less” display, however, the display is not truly bazel-less but less bazels for sure. The front camera of the device is hiding within the body and can be opened out whenever needed. Moving to specs, the device features 6.59-inch FullHD+ Super AMOLED display with a built-in fingerprint sensor. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The optics department is handled by dual rear cameras 12 MP + 5 MP, and an 8 MP front camera hiding behind the bars.
The Vivo Nex packs 4,000 mAh non-removable battery under the hood to keep the lights with 22W fast charging capabilities. It runs on latest Android 8.1, Oreo with FunTouch OS 4.1 on the top. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, BDS, GNSS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 3.5 mm jack and USB Type-C port. The device is being offered only in Black color option.
Apart from that, all the units, that will be sold in India, are manufactured in India under “Make in India” initiative at the company’s facility in Greater NOIDA.
