Xiaomi has announced its flagship Mi 6 smartphone a few days ago for home country China and is the well-expected smartphone for Indian market too. Now there are some new rumors by claiming that Mi 6 is not going to release in India.
However, India is the key market for Xiaomi as far as sales are concerned. The Redmi Note 4 is most selling smartphone till date and also Redmi Note 3 and 3S also got massive success because of their decent pricing. Instead of the Mi 6, Xiaomi will reportedly launch another high-end smartphone in the subcontinent.

We don’t know how true are these rumors since these are coming from unknown sources. The main cause for these rumors is a failure of Mi 5 which was launched last year but its sales were not impressive at all. Xiaomi still thinks India is not right to market for their high-end smartphones and they proved it true by not launching Mi 5S and 5s Plus which was company’s high-end smartphones either. There is nothing confirmed yet so we have to wait for company’s official announcement.
