Vivo has announced a new smartphone called V5s for the Indian market. It is very identical to its predecessor V5 which was introduced last year, the only change is its increased 64GB storage instead of 32GB.
Moving towards specs, it has 5.5-inch 720p HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Funtouch OS 3.0. For storage, it has 64GB storage coupled with 4GB RAM and storage can be expended up to 128GB via microSD slot. It has fingerprint sensor embed on home button.
It comes with hybrid slot which means either you can use 2 SIM cards or 1 SIM with a microSD card. It has 3000 mAh inbuilt battery. For optics, 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture. Since it has selfie centric smartphone it sports 20MP front-facing camera with Moonlight Flash, Sony IMX376 sensor, f/2.0 aperture. Other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS and micro USB OTG.

Pricing and Availability
The Vivo V5s is priced at Rs. 18,990 in India and comes in Crown Gold and Matte Black color options. It is available for pre-order through online retailers such as Flipkart as well as Vivo Certified offline retailers and the Matte Black version goes on sale from May 6th, while the Crown Gold version goes on sale from May 20th.
