Xiaomi Mi A1 launched in India priced at Rs. 14,999 with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage

Xiaomi has finally announced Mi A1 smartphone in India as well as global markets. In fact, this is a clone device of Mi 5X that was recently released in China with MIUI 9 out of the box. Unlike the Mi 5X, the device comes with Google’s Android One initiative that means you are going to get Stock Android instead Xiaomi’s custom MIUI.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 features 5.5-inch 1080 x 1920 pixels LCD display, Snapdragon 625 SoC, Android 7.1.2 (Stock Android), 3,080 mAh battery and the 12MP duos on the rear (RGB + Telephoto) including 2x optical zoom. On the front side, we have a 5MP sensor to capture selfies. The Fingerprint sensor is embedded on the back, and you either have the infrared sensor to control most of the electronic appliances remotely.

Besides, the company has promised to bring Android Oreo update by the end of this year, also will be the first phone to get Android P. Along side, regular security updates will be provided on a monthly basis. Also, consumers will have options to save photos in Google cloud storage for later access. Regarding storage, same 64GB internal storage is given with 4GB of RAM combination, similar to Chinese variant.

Considering the price, The Mi A1 is priced at Rs. 14,999 and comes in Black, Rose Gold, and Gold color options. It will be exclusively available on Flipkart and Mi.com online and various Mi home offline stores and some other retailers starting from September 12 at 12:00 PM noon. Apart from that, the company has tied up with Indian telecommunication company Airtel and offering 200GB additional 4G data.

All in all, this is a true Android smartphone with seamless Android experience. If you are Stock Android lover and can’t afford pixel devices, then the device is specially designed for you.
