Correction: Xiaomi Mi mix 2 has a single rear camera with the same sensor used on Mi 6
Xiaomi has finally announced its much-awaited flagship of 2017 dubbed as Mi Max 2 at an event in China. The main highlight of this device is its tri bezel-less display following last year’s Mi Mix. The device equipped with a Beautifull 18:9 ratio 5.99-inch Full HD+ 2160x1080p LCD display. The body of the device is made of unibody four-surface ceramic fuselage surrounded by 7-series aluminum frame.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor, that has become standard for 2017’s flagship smartphones. In the camera department, the device comes with the same camera as used on Mi 6 with a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, 1.25μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture. There is also four-axis optical image stabilization (OIS) to help take steady shots and videos. The front-facing camera has a 5MP sensor.
Furthermore, The internal storage is 64/128/256 GB coupled with either 6GB or 8GB RAM RAM option. Apart from that device include 43 different LTE bands globally to serve enhanced connectivity experience. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7 Nougat, packed in with 3,400 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
Considering the price, Standard 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at 3,299 RMB, 6GB RAM + 128GB 3,500 RMB, 6GB RAM + 256GB 3,999 RMB, and another 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs 4,699 RMB.All in all, the device is offering decent specs with a gorgeous display out of the box.
