Xiaomi Mi Note 3 official with Snapdragon 660, dual rear cameras, and Facial Recognition

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi just announces Mi Mix 2 and another device Mi Note 3 also shares this event. Basically, this is a mid-range device with mediocre specifications.

The Mi Note 3 packs Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU. The display is given 5.5-inch Full HD with eye protection technology. The unique thing is that it comes with Face unlock feature, which could unlock the device more securely with facial recognition. A 3,500 mAh battery backs the handset. Under the hood, The smartphone packed in with 64/128 GB storage option coupled with 6GB of RAM.

As for optics, the device either have same dual rear cameras similar to Mi 6 with 12-megapixel dual rear cameras, one with a wide-angle lens and another one with the telephoto lens including OIS and 2x optical Zoom. On the front, it has a 16MP front facing shooter with 2μm pixel size, having AI based beautification mode. Besides, The Mi Note 3 isn’t comparable to Mi 6 as the company marketed it earlier as “larger Mi 6.”

 

As far as pricing is concerned, The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 6GB + 64GB in Black is priced at 2,499 RMB, 6GB + 128GB in Black costs RMB 2,899 , 6GB + 128GB for RMB 2,999 in Blue color.
