A couple of days ago, Google officially announced the next Android version, called Android Pie. Now, the Xiaomi also started pushing Android Pie update to Mi Mix 2s users. The update is being released under beta testing, although there are minor glitches in the provided ROM and pretty much usable. There is no timeframe provided by the company of releasing stable ROM.
The update size is 1.9 GB and comes with MIUI 10 version 8.8.7. The update is also offering the latest security patch of July month. As far as availability is concerned, the update is seeding to Chinese variant, but, the company has also opened up invitations to giving access to its global users.
