Xiaomi launched Xiaomi Redmi 4A, its latest mid-range smartphone in India. At the launched event, the company also announced that it has started its second manufacturing plant in the country. It also said that more than 95% of Mi phones sold in India are Made in India.
Moving toward specs, Redmi 4A features 5.0 inches 720p HD display on front. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on MIUI 8.0. For optics, It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. As far as storage in concerned, It has 16GB internal storage paired with 2GB RAM.
The handset packs a 3000 mAh battery under the hood. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS and Hybrid SIM slot.

The Redmi 4A is priced at Rs. 5999 and includes Gray, Gold and Rose Gold color options. It will be available exclusively from Amazon.in and Mi.com starting from 23rd March. The Rose Gold version will be available from 6th April.
