ZTE announced Axon 9 Pro at IFA 2018 event in Berlin as expected. This is a major upgrade in the Axon series since the arrival of Axon 7 in 2016. The handset is powered by latest and mighty Snapdragon 845 processor paired with best in class Adreno 630 GPU. On the front, it has a 6.21-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with notch and HDR10 support.
As for optics, the device is driven by a verticle dual rear camera, where a 12-megapixel, Sony IMX363 sensor, OIS, Dual Pixel autofocus combined with a secondary 20-megapixel rear camera with 130-degree wide-angle lens coupled with a 20-megapixels selfie shooter. Basically, the rear camera is designed for wide-angle shots to provide enhanced group shots. It runs on Android 8.1, Oreo out of the box.
Furthermore, the device carries an IP68 rated water and dust resistant body embedded-in Fingerprint sensor on the back. The dual SIM device arrives with enhanced audio experience including features like Dual speakers, Dual SmartPA, Dynamic stereo sound, Dolby audio and USB Type-C audio port. It has a 4,000 mAh battery offering Quick Charge 4.0 and Wireless charging out of the box. Besides, the handset has 128 GB internal storage joined with 6 GB LPDDR4x RAM.
Pricing and Availability
The ZTE Axon 9 Pro is priced at €650 or approx. US$ 758 / Rs. 54,000 INR and comes in only blue color options. As for availability, the device will be available in Germany first, then it will be pushed to other markets, while, the exact date still remains unannounced.
