A few days ago, ZTE hinted about some launches at IFA 2018, and now the company officially confirms it. A separate invite published by the company designates that the ZTE Axon 9 smartphone is arriving on August 30. Lately, the company had to face a ban from the US authorities and passing through a very tough time. Yet, they are trying hard to rebuild its brand image and its lost glory. Besides, the 5G print on poster suggests that it could be the first 5G enabled device or 5G related equipment will be unpacked at the launch. Nevertheless, recently-launched Moto Z3 facilitates the 5G, but it requires an external mod.

Moving further, its predecessor was launched in 2017 dubbed as Axon 7s. For some reasons, the company skipped the number “8” and seems to step up directly number “9”. The Axon 7s was launched with Snapdragon 821 processor, 5.5 inches 2K QHD display, dual rear cameras, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and 3,400 mAh battery. Being a flagship device, the ZTE Axon 9 is speculated to bring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. Moreover, we haven’t enough leaks to analyze Axon 9 specs, hence, we have to wait for the official launch, which is not far away.
