ZTE Nubia Z18 with 6-inch FHD+ waterdrop display, Snapdragon 845 announced

ZTE recently announced Axon 9 Pro specifically designed for Europian countries at IFA 2018. Going one step further, the company today unveiled its much-anticipated smartphone Nubia Z18 at an event in China. The Nubia Z18 smartphone features a 6-inch 1080 x 2160 pixels waterdrop display claimed up to 91.8% screen to body ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU.

The device is equipped with dual 16MP + 24MP, f/1.6 aperture rear cameras and an 8MP front shooter for selfies. A 3,450 mAh non-removable battery powers the device paired with 9V==2A (18W) charger for quick charging. Regarding the storage, the device offers either 6GB + 64GB storage or 8GB + 128GB storage. There is a customized Starry Night Edition with 8GB and 128GB storage. The device runs on Nubia UI 6.0 based Android 8.1, Oreo out of the box including a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Pricing and Availability

The ZTE Nubia Z18 comes in Red and Black color option for standard variant, while, the special edition is painted and comes with a unique color combination. The standard 6GB RAM variant is priced at 2,799 CNY (410US$ / 29,300 INR), which goes up to 3,299 CNY (482US$ / 34,600 INR) and extend further to 3,599 CNY (525US$ /37,700 INR) for Starry Night Edition. When it comes to availability, the device is up for pre-orders on popular Chinese e-commerce stores including JD.COM, TmallSuning Tesco and official Nubia store and will be released on September 11.
