Alleged Honor Magic 2 gets a certificate from 3c with massive 40W charger

Huawei has showcased a new smartphone dubbed as Honor Magic 2 at IFA 2018 with a different concept of sliding screen. The device has been the subject of a high number of leaks and rumors. Now, a device with model number TNY-AL00 claimed to be Honor Magic 2, has got certified by 3C by revealing the massive 40W adapter (HW-100400C00).

The supported outputs are 5V==2A, 9V==2A and go up to whooping 10v==4A (40W). This isn’t the first time that any company is supplying that kind of charger, But Oppo has done this before with its “X” lineup smartphones, even going beyond these numbers. You would be surprised to know that Honor Magic was launched with a similar kind of charger long before anybody else did, but the technology wasn’t evaluate that much that time. The current adapter is way more powerful than the older one and charges the device more quickly.

Coming to the Honor Magic 2 Specifications, the device is speculated to arrive with AMOLED display coupled with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Further, it should add the latest HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor being a flagship-grade device. The company hints to achieve almost 100% screen to body ratio as the notch is replaced by a slider screen. As of now, the company didn’t disclose anything officially, therefore, we have to wait until the device gets an official announcement.
