Sony has finally unveiled another flagship grade smartphones at IFA 2017, as expected. However, the company has already launched Xperia XZ premium, but still, these smartphones make sense, considering the smaller form factor. The Xperia XZ1 holds 5.2-inch 1080p TRILUMINOS display with HDR 10 compatibility whereas, smaller XZ1 compact carries 4.6-inch 720p display. Both of the handsets are having Snapdragon 835 processor paired with Adreno 540 GPU. The good thing is that both the devices deliver Android 8.0 Oreo, out of the box.
Moving on, Both the devices are packed with a 19MP camera on the back with EIS video stabilization. Also, it can record 720p slow-motion video at 940fps and overall, up to 4K. On the front, XZ1 has 13MP, f/2.0 selfie camera whereas, XZ1 Compact comes with an 8MP shooter. Under the hood, both devices bundle 2,700 mAh battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 support. Regarding storage, The XZ1 comes with 4GB RAM/64GB storage, and XZ1 Compact include 3GB RAM/32GB storage. As always, Both the devices are water and dust proof with the IP68 rating. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the right side covering the power button.
