The Chinese smartphone maker Meizu M6 has finally unveiled at an event held in China. As expected, the specs are similar to its predecessor. It is powered by MediaTek’s MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The rear camera is handled by a 13MP f / 2.2 large aperture, with dual tone LED flash whereas, on the front, it has 8MP selfie snapper.
The M6 features 5.2-inch 720 x 1280p IPS LCD display at 282 PPI, protected with 2.5D glass. Regarding the storage, it brings two variants: Standard variant has 2GB + 16GB storage and 3GB + 32GB internal storage for high-end variant. And obviously, storage can be further increased up to 128GB with the help my micro SD slot (hybrid). Moreover, the fingerprint sensor is mounted on the front, which company claims it to unlock the device as low as 0.2 seconds. And, it supports Alipay and WeChat payment authentication as well.
The device is backed by 3,070 mAh battery with 24W fast charging adapter. It runs on Android 7.0 based Flyme 6.0 UI. All in all, the device can handle basic work hold, do not expect anything special to happen.
It comes in four color options including Moonlight Silver, Champagne Gold, Frosted Black, and Electric Light Blue. The device is priced at 699 RMB for base variant while higher variant costs 899 RMB. It will start selling from September 25 in China via Meizu online store.
