Meizu recently announced Meizu X8 smartphone, which is an arch-rival of Xiaomi’s Mi 8 Youth or Mi 8 Lite for the global audience. Now, the company has confirmed its release date, that will take place from October 15 in the home country China. This is a mid-range device, that offers some impressive onboard specs, and it should provide some serious competition in the given price range. It will worth noting that the device was already up for pre-orders since it goes official.
To recall the configurations, the Meizu X8 is powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with Adreno 616 GPU. It comes with 6.2 inches 1080 x 2220 pixels Full HD+ IPS display at 18.5:9 aspect ratio panel. The device packs either 4/6GB RAM with 64GB storage or 6GB RAM having 128GB of built-in storage. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo on the top of custom Flyme skin.
Furthermore, the device is backed by a 3,210 mAh non-removable battery. As for optics, it has dual a 12MP + 5MP rear camera and a 20MP front-facing shooter for selfies. Moreover, it includes all the essential connectivity features such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (dual-band), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with GLONASS, and USB Type-C port for charging.
