OnePlus has unleashed the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edtion as expected at an event in Mumbai. The device brings white colored back with a smooth Sandstone finish (remind us OnePlus One), Star Wars branding on the back, black colored power button and volume rockers and rest of the things will remain same as the original OnePlus 5T. Apart from that, the company provides a Kylo Ren case in the box, that looks solid and sturdy.
Moving into specs, the device features 6.01-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio on the front covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor paired with Adreno 540 GPU.
It boasts dual 16MP (Sony IMX398) + 20MP (Sony IMX376K ) rear cameras with EIS support to stabilize video with the f/1.7 aperture on both. On the front side, a 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX371 sensor is citing 1.0μm pixel size, f/2.0 aperture. The headset runs on Android 7.1.2 based on company’s custom Oxygen OS 4.7. It has 128GB internal storage combined with either 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and there isn’t any micro SD with true dual SIM support. The device is backed by 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge support.
