As earlier leaks suggest, the Oppo is all set to launch the Oppo F9 smartphone very soon. The device is expected to launch on August 15 and the first two markets will be Vietnam and the Philippines, as per the previous media reports. But before being official, the handset has been leaked again in the form of spy images, by disclosing both front and back.
Though we have already a precise look based on previously leaked images, these shots further confirm it. Design wise, it is a typical Oppo device with notch display, a fingerprint sensor embedded in the back paired with dual rear cameras.
Oppo F9 Expected Features
Considering the specs, the device is rumored to bring 6.3-inch Full HD display with over 90% screen-to-body ratio. The device will have MediaTek Helio P60 chipset coupled with Mali-G72 MP3. If the device arrives with the mentioned SoC, it will be the same as Oppo F7, and design wise it also looks identical to Oppo F7 in many ways. In terms of optics, it is expected to boast Dual 16 MP + 2 MP rear cameras and a single 25 MP front shooter for selfies.
It will be packing a 3,500 mAh non-removable battery and is being considered the first smartphone to hold the Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for the screen protection. The handset will have to built-on Android 8.1 based ColorOS 5.2 custom UI on the top. Moreover, the device will hit to the most of the Asian markets later this month.
