Vivo has unwrapped two new smartphones namely Vivo X20 and X20 Plus in China. The main highlight of these devices is their FullView Super AMOLED display. Both the phones have many similarities to each other. The Vivo X20 features a 6.01-inch 1080 x 2160p (18:9) Full HD display, while the Plus variant comes with the 6.43-inch display having the same resolution, and both the panels are Super AMOLED.

These smartphones are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 chipset with an integration of Adreno 512 GPU. As for optics, both the devices are handled by the dual 12-megapixels f/1.8 + 5-megapixels rear cameras, and on the front side, both have 12-megapixels, f/2.0 front-facing snapper.
The company also pointed out Face Wake feature, that uses facial recognition technology to unlock the device as low as 0.1 sec, as per the company’s claim. The fingerprint sensor is either embedded on the back. Regarding the storage, These are packing 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB storage on both. Furthermore, The Vivo X20 arrives with 3,250 mAh battery, and X20 Plus carries comparatively larger 3,900 mAh battery. X20 supports AK4376A Hi-Fi audio chip for enhanced sound experience whereas X20 has ES9318 DAC.

These devices are being operated with Android 7.1.1 running on company’s custom Funtouch UI. The dimensions on X20 are 155.85 x 75.15 x 7.2 mm and X20 plus measures 165.32 x 80.09 x 7.45 mm weighing 159 grams and 181.5 grams respectively. All the essential connectivity features are present on both the devices. Besides, Vivo X20A is there with 128GB storage, and rest of the specs remain same as the original X20.

Pricing and Availability
Considering the price, Vivo X20 is priced at 2,998 RMB, X20a Plus costs 3,398 RMB and the larger X20 Plus requires 3,498 RMB. All three headset (in fact two) include Gold, Rose Gold, and Matte Black color options. As far as availability is concerned, all these smartphones will be available for pre-bookings starting from September 22, while the actual sales will start from 30 September.
