Vivo Y75 goes official in China with Mediatek’s Helio P23 chipset

Vivo has announced a new smartphone called Y75 in company’s home country China. The smartphone borrowed most of its specs from Vivo V7, that was recently announced by the Chinese firm. The headset comes with the same 5.7-inch HD+ display at 720 x 1440p of resolution.

It is powered by Qualcomm’s MediaTek Helio P23 0cta-core processor paired with Mali G71 MP2 GPU. The rear camera is managed by 13MP, f/2.2 aperture sensor, Whereas, front-side is surrounded by a 16MP shooter to capture selfies. Its measurements are 149.3 x 72.8 x 7.9mm and weighs 139 grams. Regarding the storage, it has 32 GB of built-in storage coupled with 4 GB RAM under the hood. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear to unlock the device.

Furthermore, the device packs 3,000 mAh non-removable battery, and other connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm jack, FM Radio and micro USB 2.0 port. It runs on Android 7.1.2 based on Funtouch OS 3.2. Apart from that, the company included Hi-Fi audio chip for an enhanced audio experience. Moreover, Face Wake or Face Unlock feature is present with facial recognition as an alternative to the fingerprint scanner.

Pricing and Availability

The Vivo Y75 is priced at CNY 1,598 or roughly converted into 240$ and comes Black, Gold and Rose Gold color options. When it comes to availability, the device is already available in Vivo China’s website.
